Ashtanga Yoga

My Ashtanga yoga classes begin with the dynamic flow of the Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskara A and B), followed by the slower asanas (postures) known as the ‘Standing Sequence’ using breath and movement to awaken and unlock energy, align the body release stress. Each class will also incorporate some of the seated postures of the Primary Series. The overall practice will build strength and endurance and is an excellent foundation for both avoiding and recovering from injuries.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga gives our nervous systems a counterbalance to modern life, it is a quiet, slow paced type of yoga that accesses our deeper connective tissues of the fascia, ligaments and joints. Our bones are also comprised of connective tissue, so when we practice Yin, we are nurturing everything that connects within us.
